To customize the tray:

* Click the up arrow icon to the left of the System Tray. You will see a a pop-up menu that shows all of the tray icons that are currently hidden.
* Click Customize. An icon control window appears.
* Select a behavior for each icon. “Show icon and notifications” means that the icon will always appear in the tray. “Only show notifications” will show an icon in the tray only when it has a message to convey. “Hide icon and notifications” will make sure an icon stays hidden, even when it has a notification to deliver.
